Adv. Yuval Kaplinsky

Adv. Yuval Kaplinsky is leading the international litigation department at the law firm of Gideon Fisher & Co., following his senior post as the Director of the Department of International Affairs in Israel's State Attorney's Office.

Mr. Kaplinsky is a graduate of Hebrew University Law School (1994), from where he later received his LL.M degree (2005). After serving two years in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Kaplinsky began his career at the State Attorney's Office where he served as an Assistant District Attorney at Jerusalem District, representing the State in Israeli Courts on hundreds of civil and criminal cases. In 2013 Mr.
Kaplinsky was appointed head of the Department of International Affairs, a position he held for eight years until his retirement from civil service in September 2021.

 Over the years, Mr. Kaplinsky has lectured on Evidence Law, Civil Procedure, Criminal Law, Contract Law, International Law and Criminal Procedure in several academic institutions in Israel. Mr. Kaplinsky has also taught Litigation and Best Practices in Cross Examinations in law schools, in prosecutors' courses and to lawyers in various government agencies and offices.
