The international department at Gideon Fisher & Co. serves the firm’s clientele by providing legal opinions on a broad range of areas, addressing comparative law. Supplementing our in-house international expertise, as the sole Israeli representative in the international PARLEX network (comprised of dozens of law firms around the world), the firm is able to provide legal and business services across the globe. This also enables the firm to examine and search cross-border international databases, ensuring that the firm's team remains up to date with relevant legislation and legal realities around the world. The department handles international transactions, including the preparation of due diligence and litigation proceedings, as well as in large-scale transactions and real estate closings. The department coordinates all activities for local, foreign, and foreign resident clients, providing legal counsel and representation before the various venues in Israel and overseas, in ICC arbitration cases, commercial transactions and for international projects and transactions.

The department's attorneys have a wealth of experience in international litigation and frequently engage in enforcing external judgments even when the judgment was rendered overseas and requires implementation in Israel. In addition, the firm's international department possesses extensive experience in arbitrations vis-à-vis government entities in Africa and Eastern Europe.

The department's client base consists of foreign clients who are sued in Israel, and the firm contends with all aspects of these complex cases professionally, and efficiently.
